Puppy Kindergarten (4 sessions). Puppy Kindergarten is appropriate for puppies between 8 and 16 weeks of age, as well as for older dogs who have had no previous training. Puppy Kindergarten includes house-breaking, controlling the environment to avoid problem behavior in the future, methods to stop unwanted chewing, nipping, digging, and jumping on people, and socialization to different sights and sounds. Puppy Kindergarten also includes preliminary versions of the following commands: "sit," "down," "come," "off," "mine/give," and "heel". In this class the focus is on strengthening the bond between you and your pup with training games. Puppy Kindergarten also gives your dog an important foundation for Basic Obedience. With consistent, daily training, at the end of Puppy Kindergarten most dogs will attain a Pawsitive Dog Solutions Yellow Belt level of obedience.

Basic On-Leash Obedience (6 sessions). After your dog reaches 16 weeks of age, she is ready for Basic On-Leash Obedience, a series of 6 private sessions in which she will learn to accept you as her pack leader and exhibit good manners. She will also learn the following commands: "sit," "down," "sit-stay," "down-stay," "come," "off," "wait at the door," and "heel." With persistence at this level of training over the course of a few months following Basic Obedience, your dog will be able to hold a down-stay for thirty minutes, come when called, and walk calmly by your side unless you tell her she is "free" to sniff and pull as she likes. With consistent, daily training, at the end of Basic Obedience most dogs will attain a Pawsitive Dog Solutions Green Belt level of obedience. Many will attain a Pawsitive Dog Solutions Red Belt level of obedience.

Basic Off-Leash Obedience (4 sessions). Basic off-leash obedience perfects all of the commands of Basic Obedience off-leash. Your dog will perfect the "heel" and "stay" commands and will perfect the "come" command progressively from a distance of 10 feet, 20 feet , 30 feet, 40 feet, and 50 feet. With consistent application of concepts learned in Basic Off-Leash Obedience over the course of a few months, most dogs will attain a Pawsitive Dog Solutions Brown Belt level of obedience. Within a year of disciplined training, most dogs will attain a Pawsitive Dog Solutions Black Belt level of obedience.

Behavior Modification Training. Treatment for behavioral issues of all sorts, including but not limited to: aggression toward other dogs, aggression toward people or children, leash aggression (aggression when the dog is on-leash or behind a fence or window), separation anxiety, extreme fearfulness or shyness, hyperactivity, excessive barking.
