Pawsitive Dog Solutions tailors training programs to the particular needs of dogs and their owners. How many classes you take will depend on the temperament of your dog and the level of obedience which you want to attain. Pawsitive Dog Solutions offers the following progression of classes:

Puppy Kindergarten (Private Lessons or Group Class):  4 sessions.  Puppies ages 8  - 16 weeks, or older dogs with no previous training. House-breaking, controlling the environment,  problem-solving  for chewing, nipping, digging and jumping on people, socialization. Preliminary "sit," "down," "come," "mine/give" and "off". Training games. Confidence building.  With consistent, daily training, at the end of Puppy Kindergarten most dogs will attain a Pawsitive Dog Solutions Yellow Belt level of obedience.

Basic On-Leash Obedience (Private Lessons): 6 sessions.  For dogs 16 weeks and older. "Sit," "down," "sit-stay," "down-stay" (working toward holding for 30 minutes) "come,"  "off," "mine/give," "wait at the door," and "heel." With consistent, daily training, at the end of Basic Obedience most dogs will attain a Pawsitive Dog Solutions Green Belt level of obedience, and some will attain a Pawsitive Dog Solutions Red Belt level of obedience.  

Basic Off-Leash Obedience (Private Lessons): 4 sessions.  Basic off-leash obedience perfects all of the commands  of Basic Obedience off-leash. Your dog will perfect the "heel" and "stay" commands and will perfect the "come" command progressively from a distance of 10 feet, 20 feet , 30 feet, 40 feet, and 50 feet. With consistent application of concepts learned in Basic Off-Leash Obedience over the course of a few months, most dogs will attain a Pawsitive Dog Solutions Brown Belt level of obedience. Within a year of disciplined training, most dogs will attain a Pawsitive Dog Solutions Black Belt level of obedience.

Advanced Obedience (Group Class):  4 sessions.  For dogs who have graduated from Basic Obedience. All commands of Basic Obedience, in the presence of other dogs.

Bliss (Group Class): 4 sessions.  For graduates of Basic and Advanced Obedience.  Tricks, tricks, tricks!
